A local technical team—not an anonymous support queue
Atlantec was founded in 2004 and is based in Westbrook, Maine. The company supports small and midsized organizations that want a long-term technology partner rather than a revolving door of unfamiliar technicians.
That continuity matters. Support is faster when the technician already understands the network, Microsoft 365 environment, security controls, business applications and history behind previous decisions. It also makes it easier to connect recurring support issues to larger infrastructure, cybersecurity and planning needs.

Brett Cannon
Senior Technical Support Engineer
Brett brings broad infrastructure and support experience across legal, manufacturing, telecommunications and Microsoft support environments. At Atlantec, he handles complex technical troubleshooting, server and network issues, projects and escalation work for client environments.
His experience spans network support, systems administration, technical documentation and end-user support—useful perspective when an issue crosses the boundary between a workstation symptom and a deeper infrastructure problem.
Kara Lewandowski
Technical Support Engineer
Kara supports Atlantec clients across day-to-day IT operations, endpoint administration, security initiatives and technical projects. Her background includes device support, Microsoft endpoint work and enterprise telecom systems, with an emphasis on clear communication and practical problem solving.
As a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) listed on The Cyber AB Marketplace, Kara helps organizations understand CMMC requirements, prepare for assessment activity and connect technical implementation with the policies, evidence and operating practices required to support readiness.
She works closely with users and business stakeholders, helping turn technical and compliance requirements into supportable processes rather than treating technology as a collection of disconnected tools.
Kyle Greene
Technical Support Engineer
Kyle works across endpoint, network, server and virtualization support. His technical background includes Windows and Linux environments, network administration, system diagnostics and scripting/development skills that help with structured troubleshooting and automation.
At Atlantec, he supports client users and infrastructure while helping maintain the technical foundation that managed IT, cybersecurity and cloud services depend on.
Why team continuity matters when you choose an MSP
Technology providers often talk about tools, certifications and service catalogs. Those things matter, but the people doing the work matter just as much. A smaller, stable technical team can retain context that is difficult to capture in tickets alone: why a system was configured a certain way, which business process is sensitive to downtime and which users or vendors need special coordination.
Atlantec combines that relationship continuity with documentation, monitoring and standardized technical processes so customer knowledge does not live only in one person's memory.
Founder-led accountability
The company is still led by the person who founded it. Technical and business decisions remain close to ownership rather than disappearing into layers of management.
Local onsite capability
The team is based in Westbrook and can support physical infrastructure and projects across Greater Portland and Southern Maine when onsite work is necessary.
Security and compliance context
CMMC, cybersecurity and Microsoft cloud requirements are connected to the same operational IT environment the team supports every day.
Long-term customer knowledge
Documentation and continuity help the team understand recurring issues, business priorities and the reasons behind previous technology decisions.
How the team works with clients
Day-to-day service typically starts with the support process, but client knowledge is shared through documentation, ticket history and technical standards. Issues that need deeper engineering, project planning or security review can be escalated without asking the customer to rebuild the story from the beginning.
Restore productivity and communicate clearly about what the user or business should expect next.
Record useful technical context so future work benefits from what the team learned.
Move infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft cloud or project issues to the right technical depth.
Recurring tickets and aging systems should inform planning rather than remain an endless series of isolated fixes.
Experience that connects support, security and planning
A user problem may uncover a security issue. A server problem may reveal a recovery gap. A Microsoft 365 request may raise questions about identity, data sharing or compliance. Atlantec's service model is designed so those issues can move between support, engineering, security and planning without forcing the customer to coordinate several unrelated vendors.
